Graves mentions, “After I released the last album, A Fearless Story in 2016, I started working on this song. I want to shout out Jimmy McKrimmon, Ethan White, Laura Cammick and 5ph Elament for their work on this single.”
The album, “Heaven in Earthly Places,” comes to all streaming platforms on Feb. 15, 2020. It’s based on open pages from his journal while flowing through some of life’s complicated situations. He emphasizes the importance of staying connected to God and striving after purpose.
Die Amazing is the first single to be released off the new album. The song captures Von’s hunger for a way back after going down a long road of partying, hustling and hard drugs.
“I’ve been asked if I’d consider being a “gospel artist” but I don’t want to box myself in. I want to reach that person that doesn’t believe, I want to reach people of all backgrounds and faiths that are at different points in their lives. I want to create dope music that people will just love because it’s good and encourage them,” Graves explains.

Graves jokes in his interview with his Publicist Ell, “I feel like I graduated again. From a different kind of school this time, the school of hard-knocks.”
Graves is also very active in establishing his own music company USIC Brands, based out of Columbus, Ohio and is extending it’s businesses to the West Coast expected this year. It is a full service management company and studio that currently houses 12 USIC exclusive Artists and DJ’s. The business plan is also geared toward becoming a music academy for students in high school and younger.
“I’m really excited about this. I’m a little older now, and I don’t know how people are going to receive the new me, but I’m excited!”
